Choosing
a villa or rural home to stay in Spain:
Villas and Rural Homes are usually privately owned by a family or a group
of people. They offer their homes as an alternative to apartment rental,
where you might find more advantages than in an apartment, such as larger
spaces, more privacy, being close to nature (rural homes) and experiencing
the Spanish culture from a closer perspective.
Villas are very common in Andalusia. They are single family homes often
located close to the beach. Rural Homes are commonly located in small
villages or just in the country side. In either case, there won’t
be many people around you, and if you go to the villages close to you,
you will be surprised by the hospitality of most of the Spanish people.
